ERIDU COMPANY FOR OIL SERVICES, Ltd (ECOS) sprang out in 2002 from AL- Nawafith Company. Its predecessor the Iraqi Filter Factory was founded in 1958 in Najaf to supply the Iraqi water projects with its needs e.g filter sands, gravels, dosing tools, chlorinating equipment. Over three decades, it had executed more than 600 jobs inside and outside the country

However, in 1991 this factory was re-established as Al-Nawafith Company with the aim to extend our business to cover constructions and rehabilitations as well as general supplies for water treatment plants. We further extended the work of the company to cover manufacturing machineries, laboratory testing equipment and general supplies for oil & gas industry. In the last three years the company executed a number of contracts in the field.

In 2002, the industrial activities of AL-Nawafith Company were transferred to the newly formed company ERIDU COMPANY FOR OIL SERVICES, Ltd (ECOS).

We have all the vitality of a new company with the full financial and technical support to deliver the best service to the oil & gas, water and electric power industries. We can supply, construct, operate and maintain all kinds of equipment, machineries and plants. We can execute turn-key or joint-venture projects. Our range of work covers such equipment and machineries as drilling machines, vehicles, forklifts, pumps, compressors, chemicals, water crafts-cargo ships, tankers, dredging ships, electric power generating and distribution machinery and equipment, water treatment plants and oil refineries.

We have the full backing of well-known European and American companies in the oil & gas technology, drilling and oil & gas explorations, water treatment and electric power technology.

Nowadays we are very interested in joining the mammoth efforts to rehabilitate and reconstruct the Iraqi industrial and oil & gas sectors, as well as the water treatment supplies, and electric power generation and distribution.
